  3. The connection that links Anglo-Saxon and modern day culture is Christianity. It replaced the Anglo-Saxon's indigenous religion, which was a form of Germanic Paganism, when it was introduced to them by Irish monks. Now, well over a thousand years later, Christianity is one of the most popular religions world-wide.

  4. Modern Man is connected to Anglo-Saxon culture through literature and Christianity. Literature is, to some extent, an insight into the past and how people acted during that time period. Also, many people enjoyed the stories that the Anglo-Saxon have created.
Christianity, also, became integrated in modern culture over time as it became the way of life when it was first introduced, then used in the stories which the modern man reads today.
